After a what seemed like an eternity of Covid restrictions and wedding postponements, Caitlin and Andrew’s wedding at Gosford was the perfect way to kick start 2021 and heralded the beginning of weddings being back on the map again!
The bride and groom started the day with family at Green Craig which is only a couple of minutes from Gosford by car. It’s a spectacular setting right on the coast with amazing views over the shoreline. Gifts were delivered to each other and cards with lovely words read by the happy couple. Lee (Lee Richardson Films) and
I stayed with Caitlin just long enough for Charlie, Father of The Bride to have a first look at his beautiful daughter before we headed over to Gosford itself. Even though Gosford his absolutely huge and could easily cater for well over one hundred guests, Caitlin and Andrew’s smaller wedding seemed to actually be the perfect fit. It was fun, intimate and stylish. Just perfect.
The Pickled Piper (Legend) played on the balcony for the guests arriving and Alison and the team at Gosford were exemplary as always in making sure every guest was looked after. My good friend Tim Maguire conducted the ceremony with his usual mix of humour, style and gravitas. I’ve known Tim for a long time now and am always delighted when told he’s marrying the lucky couple.
Taking this exclusive use venue to the next level was Victoria from Secret Garden Events Florist. The floral displays and bouquets were stunning! What a perfect wedding to get me back to blogging again.
